Answers

How do I subscribe?
Please go to http://e-newsletters.internet.com and select from the complete list of internet.com newsletters. If you need further assistance, please click here for support.

How do I activate my subscription?
In order to begin your newsletter subscription, you need to reply to the confirmation e-mail received at the e-mail address which you subscribed with. If you can't locate that email, please read the filtering instructions below, or click here for assistance.

How do I unsubscribe?
Scroll down to the bottom of the newsletter and find instructions for unsubscribing directly via hyperlink or email. If you do NOT have a recent newsletter, click here for assistance. In addition, you can simply reply to any newsletter with the word 'Unsubscribe' in the subject line and you will be promptly unsubscribed from that mailing list.

How do I change my e-mail address/manage my subscriptions?
Every internet.com newsletter has a "manage your subscriptions" link at the bottom, customized to the individual subscriber. From there, you can change your active subscriptions or your e-mail address. If you do NOT have a recent newsletter, click here assistance.

Can I subscribe a friend or associate?
You may only subscribe e-mail addresses for which you are authorized to act. See legal notices.

Who should I contact with any problems or feedback regarding newsletters?
If you experience any problems (subscription confirmation request not received, error when trying to confirm, etc.) in the subscribe process, please click here for assistance. Our goal is to make the subscribe and unsubscribe process as smooth as possible, and as always, we welcome your feedback.

I'm having difficulties viewing the newsletters and I'm using Lotus Notes.
The great majority of our subscribers do not have any problems displaying our HTML-formatted newsletters, but Lotus Notes has been particularly problematic. As we haven't found a solution for this yet, we usually suggest switching to text formatted editions of the newsletter where available.

I'm getting an error message when I use your signup form ("Our subscription log indicates that you have recently used this form...")
If you are a first time subscriber, you most likely double-clicked the submit button by accident. The second click fails as a repeated attempt. If so, you will still receive a subscription confirmation email shortly. If you don't receive it, please click here for assistance, and indicate the address which you would like to be subscribed.

Another possibility is that you selected one or more newsletters and then after submitting, decided that you would like others as well. Do not re-select any of the originally selected newsletters because the subscription form cannot be used in this manner. All of our newsletters have a hyperlink at the bottom for your personalized subscription management page, where you can select additional newsletters. If you would like to add more newsletters immediately, only select the new ones. We apologize for any confusion.

I'm getting script errors when I open your HTML formatted newsletter.
Reports of script errors have shown that they occur in a fairly unpredictable manner. They are not regularly and reliably linked to one platform or version of email software on the subscriber's end. Where possible, we recommend that you switch to a text edition of the newsletter, or if unavailable, visit the website for updates.

I'm getting pop ups when I open your newsletter in Eudora. How do I make them stop?
Eudora has been known to open various elements of HTML formatted newsletters externally in a browser, rather than directly in the mail client. Updating the following Eudora settings usually resolves the problem. Please use discretion when deciding whether to do so on a temporary or ongoing basis, as this may affect other incoming email.

For users of Eudora 5.2 or newer:

  • Go to the "Tools" menu
  • Select "Options"
  • Select the category "Viewing Mail"
  • "Allow executables in HTML content" should be UNCHECKED
  • Select the category "Extra Warnings"
  • "Launch a program from a message" should be UNCHECKED
  • "Launch a program externally" should be CHECKED
  • For users of Eudora 5.0 or earlier:

  • Go to the "Tools" menu
  • Select "Options"
  • Select the category "Viewing Mail"
  • "Allow executables in html content" should be CHECKED
  • I need help filtering your newsletters into the proper folder / I used to receive your newsletters regularly, lately I haven't been.
If the newsletters have been landing in the wrong folder or you haven't been receiving them, it's most likely a filtering issue. All newsletters are sent from the internet.com domain. You might need to tell your IT staff to add the internet.com domain to the exceptions list if your company has rigid filtering in place. You may also want to set your personal filtering rules to look for the words "nl.internet.com" or "reply-" in the sender's address.

I did not subscribe, but I received a confirmation message!
This subscription attempt was most likely carried out by malicious individuals. They have not successfully subscribed you. As always, our double opt-in policy prevents you from actually being subscribed to any titles unless you reply to the confirmation e-mail. We apologize for any inconvenience that unauthorized attempts may have caused you.

    What is your privacy policy?
internet.com maintains a strict "no-spam" policy. This means that you must either sign up, or be signed up for our newsletters. When you sign up for one of our e-newsletters, you can be assured that your e-mail address will NEVER be sold to an outside company.
